Pictures Sint "full day at the Georgia Aquarium, High Museum" on Atlanta, United States

Slide show "tribooo ™ TripAdvisor a. blog travel to Atlanta, United States travilbod blogger Sint titled" full day at Georgia Aquarium, High Museum

Travel blog: enter Sint

"Atlanta is a city for pedestrians and public transport is extensive. Our Martha, stretching from the North, South, East and West, and had stopped about 20 total. Marta somewhat intimidating (see this video to see what I mean).

So we decided to drive downtown to check out the world's largest aquarium (Wu). CNN and Coca-Cola Museum also somewhat more enjoyable tourist sites. I always enjoy going to tank because I sport diving. Georgia Aquarium is set up so that you feel you under water at times. After parking $ 10 parking doubtful (Laura thought it was a trick because all the cars parked there were paintings by hand), we flew past a long waiting list. Not sure why people don't buy tickets online ... Much easier. The card 26 bucks, ugh, Oh well.

Be two years ago I was last here, and I saw many changes, especially in the section. Really like public exhibitions because they make you feel like you're underwater! Whale sharks, sea is my favourite.

Our seafood craving after visiting 2 hour, but we ended up eating meat. Then we drove a few blocks north to the "Art Museum". While we were in light interruption, we saw the tents and stalls next to the Museum. There could be some kind of Festival! People in the booth "sunny" keep waving to us, so I waved back. Then brought us girls free samples to our car! Delicious! Once we parked in the garage, we left off with some expensive Festival, which we found was the "National Festival of black arts." OK ... Therefore many wood carvings, colorful clothing and ornaments. Air BBQ delicious scents of some sort, and he was playing band jam on stage. So fun! After sampling a few drinks, we realized that closes in 5 (approximately 4 then), where we and precarious to Museum.

Highlighted (supposedly) a water lily in Monnet. Saw one at national art gallery in the capital, and loved it, so I looked forward to the collection. Well, finished the collection like paintings 3. We walked in a large room, play and watch paintings over 2, and then ... There are temporary gifts! What? Oh, I guess we cannot expect to be filled with lilies in Monet Hall ... But there are still ... Even with the ticket discount student, such as $ 15! We expected more!

Then we saw a Louvre ... In Atlanta and American contemporary art. There is something beyond the High Museum of art's placement that I can't quite put their finger on. On the one hand, there are too many furniture museum, making it look like furniture showroom, not art museum.

Laura guru Art fully and immediately recognizable to many modern artwork. We stroling about security man when he came and told us that the Museum is closed. EH.

We drank a few beers in a bar nearby called tap. By the time we had to do, it was about 7: 30! I was supposed to go on tour to visit the brewery Sweetwater County! " We figured the factory had multiple rounds and the navigation bar, so we took a taxi to the place he only like 3 miles. But! Stopped place! What? In the bar with the exception of a few employees, who largely ignored us! When we inquired about the tour, and they ended up an hour earlier and that there was a private sector partner to commence soon. Not to be the us anything or providing anything useful. It was embarrassing.

Our livers from returning to the parking lot and drove over to the downtown Decatur. That place charming. There have been several times to Book Festival and restaurant, and such. Brick store pub has a nice collection of beers (Laura for a big fan of Nice beer), where we lounged around for a while. The mixing of people to sit down with friends and talk.

And so ended our tour so busy 14 hours a day ... I felt very foreign in the city of Atlanta as there had been in ages. Sort of felt bad having to host someone when I am clueless so everything was. Thank you, GPS ".
